Door liners

fromoak ltd supply 5 1/2" deep door liners in 3/4" solid oak board. Door liners are fitted prior to the door being hung. Liners are half jointed and designed to be screwed together on site.

Architraves and slamming strips

Architrave is the timber added around the edge of a door to conceal the join between the door and adjoining wall. fromoak ltd stocks a chamfered solid oak architrave. This is approximately 2 inches by 5/16 inch with a chamfer of 1/2 inch and sold in sets to fit one whole side of one door.

Slamming strips are sold in 1 ½ inch by 0.5 inch solid oak strips. They ensure that the door does not close too far, prevent daylight and drafts and are sold in sets of 2 sides and 1 head for each door.
