Our standard ledged and framed round doors can be supplied as fire doors by the application of a clear intumescent coating applied in our workshop. 

This provides 60 minutes of fire protection on 20mm thick timber (our doors are 22mm thick).

Certification will be provided to confirm that doors comply with Class 1 of Building Regulations

 Doors are tested for moisture content as they leave our workshops. Doors should be stored prior to hanging in dry conditions and not subjected to excessive heat immediately after delivery.

Occasionally at fromoak ltd we are fortunate enough to source reclaimed pine and new elm boarding specifically for door manufacture. Please ask us about availability and prices.
