Timber is a natural material and, therefore subject to minor
natural movement due to seasonal changes and variations in
temperature and humidity levels. These will not be
considered to be a fault in the product.
Gaps and cups of up to a few millimetres are deemed to be
within acceptable tolerances for a natural product of this
type.
fromoak ltd cannot accept any liability for movement,
distortion swelling or warping to our products caused by
their exposure to extremes of temperature or humidity. This
will include, but will not be limited to, the introduction
of heating for the first time after installation; the
presence of damp and the storage of products in damp
conditions or near rot affected products.
fromoak ltd will not be held responsible for work or expense
issuing from bad workmanship or storage of our products
after delivery.
fromoak ltd understands the importance of supplying products
within stated anticipated delivery times but is unable to
guarantee these, particularly as some factors are outside
our control. Plainly we understand the need to keep you
informed as soon as any delay in delivery is anticipated.
The liability of fromoak ltd for goods proving to be
defective is limited solely to replacement of the goods.
A restocking charge of 20% will be levied on all undamaged
goods returned. Proof of purchase is required for all
returned goods.
All goods remain the property of fromoak ltd until such time
as payment of all monies owed is made.
Made to measure and bespoke orders must be paid for prior to
manufacture. In the event of cancellation of the order,
after manufacture has commenced, refunds will only be made
after costs to date have been deducted.
Claims for damaged or missing goods must be made within 2
working days of collection/delivery and must be confirmed in
writing within 5 working days to fromoak ltd together with
proof of purchase.
We have an agreement with a local haulier and would be happy
to quote you for palletised and fully insured delivery of
your order.
